Light Between Our Tears
Test

About this project
This is Naira's story.
When the last war shook Armenia, I felt the pain of my homeland deep in my heart.
During that time, I began to think about my roots.
My culture.
And everything that shaped who I am.
Then I heard about a little girl from a remote village near the border.
She was only nine years old.
She had one simple dream.
To have a playground in her village.
Her wish would not leave my heart.
I prayed and asked God what I could do. I also spoke with my children about it.
Together, we decided to use our own savings to build a small playground for this village.
And suddenly, every door opened.
Everything happened faster than expected.
For me, it was a sign.
When God places something in our hearts, and we are willing to obey, the impossible becomes possible.
I traveled from Germany to Armenia.
Then I drove another five to six hours to reach this tiny village near the border.
When I arrived, the little girl ran toward me.
She hugged me tightly.
And she began to cry.
I could not hold back my tears either.
Then she said something I will never forget.
God showed me in a dream that you would come today. Thank you for making my dream come true.
In that moment, I felt something extraordinary.
As if light surrounded us.
God was touching not only the heart of this child, but also my own heart.
Because while I was holding this little girl in my arms, I was also meeting the little girl within myself.
The child who had lived through war.
Through poverty.
Through difficult times.
And somewhere between her tears and mine, something inside of me began to heal.
